Mandala – the holistic approach to tennis

I offer you a comprehensive, full-bodied approach to tennis learning.

The idea behind Mandala is to provide exactly what every tennis player may need to polish his or her skills – physically, mentally and emotionally. That’s the holistic approach.

Mandala offers individual tennis lessons for students between the age of 8 to 18 as well as adults, in the area of Malmö. You can either work on certain aspects of a specific skill or choose comprehensive training of all skills. Individuals who don’t want to or are unable to attend club training, are also welcome.

I believe in the collaboration between the student and the teacher. Whether you’re a competitive player or play tennis just for fun, you probably realize what you need to work to improve yourself and your play. I’ll help you determine and reach your goals.

Why is my approach worth giving a try?

The skills necessary to become a great tennis professional fall into two categories: hard and soft. The first requires hours spent on mastering tennis techniques. The goal is to perform every single element as perfectly as possible. Soft skills include developing character that will keep you stay focused, motivated, and confident. With hard skills alone you may easily lose track of what is important and lack the ability to dominate your opponent. This is why I offer a wholesome approach to tennis learning. I use years of practical experience to teach the techniques. With studies in psychology and having worked with hundreds of people over the years, I show you how to look right ahead – where your goal is.

My lessons are always individual, my interest is always YOU. I help you develop both hard and soft skills and I never overlook things that could lead to mistakes – this is Mandala – my very own holistic approach to tennis.

Who am I?

My name is Artur Baron. I come from Poland, where I first acquired formal education as a tennis instructor – at the University of Physical Education, Warsaw – one of Poland’s most prestigious sport education units. I took psychology and pedagogy classes to develop the soft skills, and I have been polishing my knowledge ever since.

I have 6 years of experience as a full time tennis coach and I owned a tennis school in Poland for 3 years. A couple of years ago I moved to Sweden and since then I have been working for Swedish tennis clubs. I obtained special coaching certificates from U.S. PTR, GPTCA and iTPA one of the most prestigious associations and schools of tennis coaching. I’m proud of completing a course at the Sanchez-Casal academy in Barcelona, one of the best academies in the world, and I’m currently a licensed Sanchez-Casal instructor.

I have experience in working with spectacularly talented youth and know how to adapt to their character, to help them find the most efficient way of developing skills. As for adults, I prepared flexible programs for late beginners, those who return to the sport or those in need of rapid skill acquirement. I’m currently living in Malmö and this is where I meet with my students. If you have any questions, please contact me by mail or call me.

Make the most out of your potential and enjoy the game!
